My grandfather, Albert Lindberg, passed away in his sleep early Sunday morning. His mind was sharp to the very end, but his body just couldn't keep up anymore. We are all saddened by the loss, but are grateful that his struggle is finally over. The funeral was today in Dallas, Wisconsin. The family has been very upbeat through all of this and are all warmed by the memories we have of him. He will be missed, we loved him very much.
Here is the obituary, as published in the Chibardun news:

Family
I just found your blog and your grandfather's obituary. I must say how much I feel for your family and I've never met you. I did find out we are related however through your Grandma Beulah's side. Would love to hear from you. My genealogy research is online at www.geocities.com/carriejeanjacket/notbohm
I'm very sorry to hear about
I'm very sorry to hear about your family's loss, Rob. My thoughts are with you all. I hope this brings you a little extra light when thinking of your grandfather -- we called my grandmother "Ubby." Her maiden name was Stubbs, so it fit. :) I saw that in the obituary and thought, "aww...they were very special people." Take care.
...
Best wishes to you and your family.
