Rob and Emily Raleigh

The sponge-painted morning sunrise yellow that used to be in Rob's office has been replaced. He disliked the color since the first time he saw it, and vowed it would be the first thing we change once we bought the house. He got a few paint swatches in various shades of blue and green, and finally decided on two colors. Along the foundation wall on the lower half of the room he painted slate blue, and on the upper half and the full walls he painted "silver string" or something like that. It looks really good! Rob posted pictures. That was how we spent our labor day.

Painting the office was the first step in Rob's grand scheme of officially organizing it and creating a more efficient workspace. He and Joe just got back from Ikea where he was picking out cabinets. Though no decision was made yet, he has a pretty good idea what he wants.
